Medicare
Podiatry services are generally not covered by Medicare, however from 1st July 2004 the federal government passed legislation to permit selective persons with a chronic medical condition or complex care needs to claim part rebate of podiatry services. An appropriate Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral must be obtained from your Doctor prior to the consultation at Foot Focus. Brent is a diamond in the rough. Brent is a great podiatrist who did my orthotics. Most other places would just cast my feet, send it off to be made and say bye. Brent on the other hand, started with off the shelf orthotics and modified them to correct my bad habits and set my muscles right first! If not for his approach, I would probably be on my third pair of custom orthotics by now.
